Yes, it is important to be at every session as we cover a lot of content that ties into the overall training. Unfortunately, no free make-ups will be provided if you do miss any sessions. If you require make-up time this will come at an additional cost.
We will have 3 online sessions either during the 3 month longer courses or after the 5 day intensive. The online sessions give everyone the opportunity to ask questions or reflect on their learning.
Everyone also receives a 90-minute one-on-one session with either B or Lael throughout the training.
We will offer a full refund up until 1 month before the course and then 50% up to 2 weeks before the start of the course.
No, you do not. Some knowledge of birth is important, but you do not have to work in birth to do the training.
We offer an extensive resource guide that we’d like you to explore as it feels right. This includes books, websites, podcasts and videos to watch. We also invite you to practice what you’ve learned during the mentorship so that you can get the most out of it. This involves conducting free birth debriefs with volunteers once we’ve covered the majority of the training.
We set up listening partnerships and a support group with the people you trained with.
Yes you can. The course equates to around 60 hours of coursework.
Yes, this is a big part of the training. We invite all participants to explore their relationship to birth, holding space, feelings, our system and so much more.
